For over 20 years, Dr. Hearn has been serving the community of Cincinnati. A well-known Vascular Surgeon, Dr. Hearn has performed thousands of open, minimally invasive, catheter-based, and ultrasound guided vascular procedures. Dr. Hearn started his career in vascular surgery, but while training, teaching, and seeing patients in the field, he found he was often treating people with varicose veins, chronic venous insufficiency, venous stasis, leg ulcers, or cellulitis. He noted that many of these patients suffered for many years and had a very poor quality of life, and some had spent years improperly diagnosed or treated with now outdated methodologies such as vein stripping.

“I have devoted my entire career to the care of patients suffering from chronic venous disorders like varicose veins, venous ulceration, lower limb swelling, and pain. I take particular pride in treating patients who have had prior treatments from other specialists and are still symptomatic. I created The Vein Center of Cincinnati to focus my attention solely on the care of patients with venous disorders”.
